She makes you feel at home,
Comfortable.
Tells you to eat and take and use
What you want.
She is so giving and caring and helpful,
Yet how do you repay here?
With greed and entitlement and selfishness.
No care,
No love,
No appreciation.
She has the most thankless job in the universe.
You keep taking advantage,
And she keeps going.
She gives you warnings,
But you do not heed.
When will you listen?
What will be her last straw?
She can't go on like this forever...
We need to remember
We are visitors here.
